I’ve worked in group projects and sports teams for a lot of my life and it has led me to several positive and negative experiences. Even though not every experience was perfect, the negative moments taught me what I could’ve done differently. For example, all throughout middle school, high school, college I have been involved in group activities and projects. Some of these projects resulted negatively due to certain behaviors because our group didn’t know how to correct them. This would happen when those who took charge of a meeting had never led a group project before and were too demanding, didn’t possess the listening skills or the right approaches to appropriate feedback like in the book Practical Strategies for Technical Communication - 3rd edition references to do.
